Community Outreach

St. Margaret’s collaborates with several non-profit organizations in Lawrence to serve our community and to share Christ’s love with our neighbor. The following are a few of our partners that we are privileged to support and work with:

Family Promise of Lawrence: Family Promise is dedicated to assisting families with children as they seek to achieve and maintain permanent housing. St. Margaret’s serves as a rotating host site for Family Promise. Our next rotation is March 12-19, 2023, during which we will once again open the doors of our Parish Center to host one or more families who are navigating the Family Promise program.

L.I.N.K.: Lawrence Interdenominational Nutrition Kitchen works to provide nutritious, prepared-at-home food to anyone in need of a meal.

Trinity Interfaith Food Pantry: Trinity Interfaith Food Pantry is a collective of five area churches that provides access to food for those in need.

Lawrence Habitat for Humanity: Habitat for Humanity seeks to serve Lawrence by providing affordable housing and transforming lives.
