Children Formation

Kindergarten to 5th grade

  • Elementary Formation Classes: Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:00am for a Sunday School class where we will sing songs, play games, and learn about the Gospel! Any time Adult Formation meets, so does Elementary Formation.

  • Children’s Chapel: Meets Sundays during the 10am service. Rooted in the Montessori-inspired Godly Play style of storytelling, Children’s Chapel gives children an immersive and interactive way of learning the great story of God. Activity bags are provided on Sundays when there is no Children’s Chapel.

Nursery to Pre-K

  • Nursery: Children ages 0-5 gather in the nursery during the 10am service to sing songs, learn a Bible story, play games, do crafts, and have a snack. Children are welcome to stay in the service too. St Margarets engages the smallest members of our congregation in exploring Bible stories through arts and sensory play.

Saint Margaret’s Playgroup is a monthly meeting for parents/caregivers and their 0-5 year olds. Meetings are announced in the weekly digest.

Please let us know about any accommodations your child may need while participating in our ministries!

Our volunteers are trained in Safe Church, Safe Communities by the Episcopal Church to ensure the safety of our children and volunteers.

Youth Formation

6th to 12th Grade

Formation Classes: Join us on Sundays mornings at 9:00am for formation classes. These classes provide an opportunity for growth, learning and encouragement in your spiritual life. Middle School and High School currently meet with the Adult Formation Class.

Bible Overview- During the Summer (June-July)

In this class we will be doing an overview of the entire Bible, aiming to provide a broad understanding of its content, structure, and key themes, rather than a detailed study of individual passages. We will look at the big picture and explain where things fit historically. Understanding the Bible as a whole helps to engage with individual books and passages in a more meaningful way when hearing the Bible during liturgy or when reading the Bible on your own!
